We bring love and hope to children and young people growing up in difficult and challenging environments. We believe it is important for a child to have a good foundation: spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally.
We want them to enjoy a healthy, safe environment while learning to feel good about themselves on a day-to-day basis. This will help them to engage effectively within their community and become productive citizens of this country. With a heart for the children and youths,
Lighthouse City presently offers:
- Life Skills Classes, i.e. baking and cooking classes, Arts and Craft activities,
- community children and youth choir.
- Self-awareness sessions, teach children and youths how to deal with matters concerning the mind, soul, and body. To gain knowledge, motivate healthy behavior, and increase self-confidence to achieve success.
- Performing Arts Program, learning to play musical instruments, developing their skills and talents in singing, expressing themselves through creative dance, and gaining confidence during theatrical performances.
- School of Excellence Program, empowering girls to become ladies and boys to become men.
- We support, assist and provide help to young people who are homeless.
- We provide in-house spiritual counseling, mentorship, and life coaching sessions.
